Dakota Family Dental
Dr Friedman focuses on preventative dentistry and involves the patient in his/her treatment plan. After a thorough, comprehensive examination, she brings the patient back for a second appointment to explain her findings and educate the patient on the treatment options available, as well as the risks and benefits. Dr Friedman finds this gives her more time to make sure the patient understands what their options are, and more importantly, why she recommends certain treatment. By focusing on a medical model and using science-based dentistry to assess the risks and provide treatment, it prevents more involved and extensive dentistry later on.
